Happy Saturday to all! Here are some fun links for your weekend reading:
- As if you needed another pattern source: check out German pattern makers schnittquelle. (See photo above.) TIps on navigating the Germanness of it all can be found on this PatternReview discussion thread. (Go to the bottom of the page.)
- The Los Angeles Times picks Fifty First Dresses from various designers. (Well, they picked them a while ago, but I just stumbled across them.)
- Over on Vintage Red, Carisa is teaching herself to grade vintage patterns. I'm the kind of person who can't do anything without reading three books and taking twice as many classes, while Carisa jumps right in to the deep end of the pool. I read her posts with a combination of awe and terror.
- Here's an interesting blog by designer George Moskal. He shares a lot about his patternmaking process for his upcoming line.
- On BurdaStyle: Win a copy of The September Issue, a documentary on Anna Wintour and Vogue Magazine. Entries must be in by Wednesday, February 10.
